Maida June (Logan) Hetzler

Maida June (Logan) Hetzler, 86, entered into glory February 17, at Vancrest at Upper Valley in Troy, Ohio. 

She was born December 20, 1938, in Garden City, Kan., to the late Carl Baxter and Grace Eldrid (McClimans) Logan of Leoti, Kan.

In addition to being a wife and mother, Maida June taught Sunday School and drove trucks for a grain elevator seasonally.  She was a sweet and generous person who loved her Lord and wanted to tell everyone about Jesus.

Maida June is survived by two children: Denile Lance Hetzler, Florence, Colo., and Tracy Jill (Robert Arthur) George, Troy, Ohio; one sister: Orpha Kay Duell, Wichita, Kan.; one granddaughter: Lorien Marie (David) Elgersma, Spring Valley, Ohio; one grandson: Logan Robert (Brooke Young) George, Nashville, Tenn.; one sister-in-law: Darlene Appl; and one brother-in-law: Dennis Duell.  She also leaves behind several other relatives, friends, and care-givers, as well as her church family at Troy Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: William Eldean “Bill D.” Hetzler.

Memorial service is planned for 11 a.m., Monday, April 28, at Troy Baptist Church, 691 E. Staunton Road, Troy, Ohio 45373. 

Visitation take place prior to the service from 10:30-11 a.m., at Troy Baptist Church.
