Maria D. Borboa, 81, passed away Friday, November 14, at her home in Ulysses.
She was born August 13, 1944, in Tucson, Ariz., the daughter of Francisco and Margarita (Armenta) Riesgo.
Maria grew up in Tucson Ariz.
She married Peter Borboa January 12, 1963, in Tucson, Ariz.
Maria enjoyed family time, being involved with and supporting grandkids and great-grandkids. Maria will be remembered for her amazing cooking and making sure everyone always ate. She had a way of making everyone laugh by saying what was on her mind and had no filter.
Maria is survived by her sons: Peter Borboa Jr., Ulysses, and Phillip Borboa and wife, Lisa, Ulysses; daughters: Victoria Barreda (Rene Barreda), Phoenix, Ariz., and Veronica Borboa, Phoenix, Ariz.; daughter-in-law, Renee Borboa, Middleburg, Fla.; 14 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Maria is preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Margarita Riesgo; husband, Peter P. Borboa; and son, Paul J. Borboa.
