Parents Day Out was for parents who needed to finish up Christmas wrapping/shopping or those who wanted could join the kids at the matinee.
Grant County Recreation Center's Kristi Breese brought the kids over to see the movie matinee with donations of a canned food item brought by each child or family to serve as entry fee. All donations are to be given to Loaves and Fishes. The event was partnered by Grant County Chamber, GCCR, The Lyons Club and American Legion, who chaperoned the movie. The Chamber, Lyons Club and American legion handed out goodie bags and apples after the movie.
How the Grinch Stole Christmas, this is the 25th year of this movie. Lots of children and their parents came out to enjoy this wonderful movie matinee.
