Pioneer Communications Celebrates 75 Years With ‘Party In The Parking Lot’

The community turned out in droves for the Pioneer Communications 75th Anniversary celebration May 22 in the north parking lot. Food trucks were on hand from Alejandros, Tate’s BBQ, 1979 and La Estrella, as well as special giveaways, cornhole, Plinko, two bouncy houses and a slide. A Special 75th Anniversary sign was available for “selfies.” Pioneer will hold similar celebrations in Hugoton June 5 and Lakin June 12.
