Posted

Another Tumbleweed Arts and Crafts Bazaar is in the books with the conclusion of this year's event November 22 and 23.

There were more than 70 booth vendors at this year's show at Grant County Civic Center from not only Ulysses, but also from the Kansas communities of Hugoton, Liberal, Scott City, Minneola, Ingalls, and Oakley. There were also vendors from Guymon, Okla., and Springfield, Colo.

The day was a great opportunity to enjoy great food, shopping fun, and have the opportunity to win some door prizes.

Mr. and Mrs. Clause were at the show at 2 p.m.,  Saturday to talk to the boys and girls about their Christmas wishes.

The annual event is also a  great time for families and friends to enjoy and visit with each others as well as all the booths, perhaps find a Thanksgiving center piece, a special gift for Christmas, or just something the shoppers themselves really liked.

There was so vendors with a variety of  beautiful items to choose from. It was appareant that a lot of hard work was put into getting this event setup for everyone to enjoy.  Attendees were tempted by the wonderful food smells.

The SWKS girls were raising money for SWKS Extreme Volleyball.

Josephine Jellison, Reporter at the Ulysses News, was  a big fan of the popcorn, stating it was delicious and that she will " definitely be ordering more.”

Among the wares offered by the vendors were arts and craft items, baking and woodworking, toys, lotions, healthy teas and shakes, special coffee, Chocolate bombs flavored creamer bombs, lots of homemade bread and so much more!
