Staff from the Ulysses News went to the businesses participating in the annual Turkey Tickets contest to draw out the lucky winners' names. A representative/employee of each location did the honors with the following lucky residents names being drawn:
Lorene Cook, Robert Annis, Lisa Miles, Mari Rios, Judy Trammel, Tina Carson, Janet Trammel, Alberta Helmle, and Rodney Pointer.
Businesses that sponsored the contest were: Bear Creek Coffee, Golden Plains Credit Union, Cory Nagel American Family Insurance, Bank of Ulysses, Grant County Bank, Jeri Lynn Wells/Shelter Insurance, Precision Auto Body, Bob Wilson Hospital Auxiliary Gift Shop, and Jeff Harms Farm Bureau.
