Ulysses Police Department responded to a reported two-vehicle collision involving passenger cars at approximately 2:36 p.m., December 14.
According to a press release from the Ulysses Police Department, the investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by a 36-year-old female, with one additional occupant, exited the parking lot of Dollar General onto eastbound Oklahoma Avenue. The vehicle was struck by a passenger car traveling eastbound on Oklahoma Avenue near the intersection of Durham Street. That vehicle was operated by a 39-year-old male, which had two additional occupants.
The vehicle operated by the 36-year-old female sustained damage to the rear bumper and a tire. The vehicle operated by the 39-year-old male sustained major damage to the front end. The 36-year-old female was transported by Grant County EMS to Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital for evaluation. The 39-year-old male transported himself to Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital. No extrication was required for any occupants of either vehicle, and no additional injuries were reported at the scene.
