When the United States Army needed some help, a place to land, a place to stay and a place for them to repair a broken aircraft - Ulysses had their backs!
Recently some helicopters belonging to the Army landed at the Ulysses Airport to get that help.
Grant County Sheriff's Department responded to help in night watch over the helicopters.
"It's really awesome to have military stop by and get to talk with the service personnel that are out there fighting for the USA," said a spokesperson from North Star Aviation, Inc. "These guys (were) fellow Kansans trying to get to home base at Fort Riley after some training."
