MANTER, Kan. - A Ulysses man was injured in a one-vehicle accident at around 8:46 a.m., Tuesday, .1 mile North of BB Boulevard, 10 miles South of Manter, Kan.

Authorities said Richard Lynn Lebrun, 67, Ulysses, was driving a 2005 Peterbilt Semi truck northbound on Road 9, just north of BB Boulevard when the accident occurred.

The Peterbilt reportedly went off the road to the right with the passenger side tires.

Authorities said Lebrun attempted to steer left to return to the roadway; however, the semi and trailer overturned on the passenger side facing, Northwest on Road 9. The crash blocked both lanes of travel for awhile, and rock from the semi  covered the Northbound lane, shoulder and ditch.

Authorities did not say what condition Lebrun was in or where or if he was transported for medical care. The report also did not specify how long the roadways were blocked to other travel.
