Ulysses News Loses Team Member

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that our bookkeeper, Amanda Wallace Murphy, passed away suddenly last night.

We are currently navigating the shock of this tremendous loss while doing our best to move forward through the many responsibilities that lie ahead. We kindly ask that you keep our Publisher, Nancy Wallace Keletcka (Amanda's mom), and Amanda’s family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

Amanda served the Ulysses News in countless ways. In addition to being our sole bookkeeper, she dedicated herself to advertising, graphic design, archiving, paper delivery, and even stepped in as Pro Tempore Publisher in 2025. Her commitment, versatility, and heart for this publication and community cannot be overstated.
