The first ever holistic healing and herb shop in Ulysses is approaching its 2-year anniversary, and owner Flor Field showcased some of what she does in her shop at 121 South Main during last Friday’s weekly Chamber Coffee.
“We’re growing,” Field said. “We offer a little bit of everything, herbs, teas, remedies - anything and everything you can think of.”
A native of Chihuahua, Mexico, Flor has lived in Ulysses for nearly 30 years and offers holistic therapy classes as well as meditations and massage. The shop has an extensive inventory of holistic items including vitamins and supplements; herbal tinctures, bath and body products, sustainable gifts, jewelry, tea and coffee, and in addition to massage therapy and meditation, offers reiki energy healing, chakra balancing, craniosacral therapy, ionic foot detox, spiritual cleansing, and sound therapy.
Flor also offers Sound Baths that utilize singing bowls and gongs with different frequencies and instruments.
“It’s very relaxing,” she said, adding that English and Spanish sessions are available.
Field made note of her growing website, www.vidawellness777.com, where people can shop Online for pick up, and check out therapy schedules.
“It takes a lot of time but I’m still adding products to it,” she said.
