"Went to my business class at GCCC. My professor took roll then dismissed us. I left for work at Wal-Mart and it was a dessert everything gone - wiped out. The gas station had long lines like crazy - gas had took a hike and over $5 a gallon. I remember my friend's sister found a gas station that didn't raise its prices. She took turns taking out vehicles to fill them up at regular price. Wal-Mart had TVs that hung all around the store and were all on the news. It was such a somber and surreal time.
