Bentwood Golf Course officials are asking for help from those who utilize the course.
"Our grounds crew works hard every day to keep Bentwood Golf Course in excellent condition for everyone who plays here," they said in a Facebook post this week. "Unfortunately, recent damage to one of our greens was found during routine maintenance. Damage like this impacts playing conditions for all golfers and takes valuable time and resources to repair."
Officials say they need help from everyone.
"We ask all players to respect the course, repair ball marks, replace divots, and help us protect the playing surfaces that make Bentwood a great place to play," they said. "Intentional damage to the course will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the property and loss of playing privileges. Thank you to the many golfers who take pride in caring for the course and helping us keep Bentwood in top condition."
