FFA Teams Place Sixth, Tenth In Cimarron

Members of Ulysses FFA recently participated in the vet science CDE in Cimarron.

Vet science consists of a 50 question test, 10 question math test, ID over breeds, veterinary instruments, and parasites and two different clinicals.

A spokesperson for the FFA said, "It's a bit to get prepared for."

The freshman team made up of Bria Havel, Gavin Smith, and Lattigo Wilson placed sixth , with Havel taking first place over all.

The senior team made up of Waylon Lattimore, Teagan Deyoe, Kaylin Lattimore, and Ava Lara, placed 10th.

Individual placings were:

Freshmen - Bria Havel, first; Lattigo Wilson, 27th; and Gavin Smith, 33rd.

Seniors- Waylon Lattimore, 26th; Teagan Deyoe, 34th; Kaylin Lattimore, 51st; Ava Lara, 56th; Jayleen Casas, 78th; and Hayli Rodriguez, 83rd.

The local FFA's next competition will be livestock judging in Dodge City, March 26.
