Lady Tigers traveled to Norton for a tournament August 30.
"I feel this tournament was a great way to start our season," said Coach Jillian Scott in a Facebook post. "Good quality of opponents and some very good volleyball was played by all six teams this weekend. We started the day with a 3-set win over Otis-Bison, followed by a couple losses to Ellsworth and Beloit before lunch. After refueling with some Subway, we won a 3-set match over Colby, and then ended the day with some of our best volleyball, losing a very close 3-set match to Norton."
Scott was pleased with how the ladies showed up.
"I was so happy with the way the girls played as a whole," she said. "I feel like we made some adjustments and improvements on the fly, but there are always more things to work on and it is up from here. We got a lot of compliments from other coaches and spectators from other teams saying how much fun our girls are to watch, and I totally agree!"
