The Southwestern Heights Lady Mustangs jumped to a 29-16 first half advantage and cruised to a 68-46 win over the Ulysses Lady Tigers to drop Ulysses to 1-5 heading into the Christmas break.
Piper Schultz scored 18 points to lead Ulysses and Clarissa Sianuqui added 10 as the Lady Tigers look to improve heading into their Jan. 7 trip to Hugoton. Xitaly Castillo scored six points, Nayeli Romero five, Devany Vitolas two, Abby Tapia two, Corley McCormick two, and Natalya Sifuentes one.
Layla Pearl Kisner added 20 for Heights and Juanita Puentes 15.
The Tigers survived a 50-48 win over the host Mustangs as Ulysses ended the game on a 10-4 run to win it after SWH had taken a 44-40 lead after three quarters of play.
Julian Meraz scored six of his game-high 12 points during the fourth quarter rally. Corban Deirking scored eight points, Caden Ledesma eight, Aden Alvarado seven, Parker Browning five, Styker Berglund three, Austyn Leyva three, Tyce Perez two, and Luis Contreraz two.
Omar Mercardo led Heights with eight points.

Deerfield 38, Moscow 34
The Lady Wildcats dropped to 3-3 heading into Christmas while the win gave Deerfield a 3-3 record. The Lady Spartans hit the court Jan. 7 against Southwestern Heights while Moscow next plays Jan. 7 at Elkhart (0-6).

Satanta 62, Sublette 46
The Lady Indians took a 16-10 lead after the first quarter of play and outscored the Lady Larks 30-20 in the second half to improve to 2-4 heading into the holiday break. Stats were not available.
Sublette (0-5) will travel to Pratt Skyline (1-5) Jan. 3 while Satanta (2-4) travels to Ashland (3-3) Jan. 7.
Goodland 43, Hugoton 36
The Lady Eagles dropped to 2-3 on the season and Goodland improved to 4-1. Hugoton next plays host to Ulysses (1-5) Jan. 7.
Lakin 38, Dodge City 31
The Lady Broncs improved to 3-3 while the Lady Demons dropped to 1-4. Lakin next plays Jan. 10 at home against Syracuse.

Deerfield 68, Moscow 26
Adriel Clymer scored 20 points, Colton Musil 16, and Maverick Najera 11 to lead Deerfield (4-2) to a big win entering Christmas break. Moscow (0-5) travels to Elkhart (3-3) Jan. 7 while Deerfield plays host to Southwestern Heights (3-3) on Jan. 7.

The Larks used a 19-4 second quarter run to roll the Indians for the first win of the season. Satanta dropped to 0-5. Sublette visits Elkhart (3-3) Jan. 10 while Satanta visits Ashland (2-4) Jan. 7.
Goodland 51, Hugoton 45
The Cowboys remained unbeaten at 6-0 with a solid win at Hugoton, while the Eagles dropped to 2-3. Hugoton plays host to Ulysses (3-3) Jan. 7.
Lakin 68, Dodge City 58
The Broncs improved to 5-1 with a solid home win heading into their Jan. 10 home battle against the 5-1 Syracuse Bulldogs.
