UHS Forensics Shines in Minneola

Ulysses High School  Forensics concluded their regular season in Minneola on Monday with resounding success!

The duet of Miranda Vazquez and Elena Guerrero came home with first place, joined by Aaliyah Espino and Karely Gamboa in third, the IDA partnership of Sebastian Heredia and Jesus Holguin in fourth, Miranda, Jesus, and Elena adding fifth in individual events, and Karely adding a sixth place.

Adey Schneider, Lily Cowan, Julia Rodriguez, Sandra Rider, and Galilea Martinez all also competed and did well!

This concludes the UHS Forensics Regular Season. The team came home with six team trophies in 10 meets, winning three, including their first ever GWAC championship. There were 78 individual/duo entries that finished in the medals, with 19 total first places. The team qualified 22 unique entries for state, allowing them to take a full list of 16 to state champs, with another entry eligible for state festival.

The season will reach its conclusion May 3, in Topeka for the state championship. Go Tigers!
