Kimberly Kay Schmidt, 63, passed away August 1, in Wichita, Kans.

She was born April 20, 1961, in Hutchinson, Kans.

She proudly graduated from Hutchinson High School in Hutchinson, Kansas.

Kim's journey through life was marked by compassion and dedication. For 14 years, she served as a Certified Assistant (CNA) a nursing home in Hutchinson. Her care and kindness touched the lives of many during her tenure.

Kim and Loren Schmidt were married December 8, 2008, in Hutchinson, Kans.

Kim found joy in simple yet meaningful activities. She had a talent for crocheting and shared a love for gardening with her husband, Loren.

Kim was preceded in death by her father James Albet Boshears; and son, Brandon Chambers.

Kim leaves behind a legacy of love and memories cherished by those closest to her. She is survived by her devoted husband, Loren Schmidt, Ulysses; her mother, Carmen Tenorio and stepfather, Alberto, Hutchinson; her daughter, Carissa Chambers, Hutchinson; two brothers: Joseph Boshears and wife, Jennifer, Derby, Kans.; Edward Boshears and wife, Shelly, Wichita; granddaughter, Aslynn Chambers; along with other relatives and friends.

Visitation took place from 4-7 p.m.,  Tuesday, August 6, at Robson Funeral Home, Ulysses.

In remembrance of Kim's life, a Funeral Service took place at 10 a.m., August 7,  at Country View Baptist Church in Ulysses.

Following the service, she was laid to rest at Golden Cemetery in Ulysses.

A memorial has been established for Country View Baptist Church, in care of Robson Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St., Ulysses, KS. 67880
